Welcome! - The Kiwanis Club of the Sandhills was founded in 1922 and now has over 160 active members.

Meetings - Prospective members and visiting Kiwanians are invited to join us for lunch at our weekly meetings on Wednesday at noon at  National Golf Club.

Kiwanis International  is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. The Kiwanis family of service clubs spans the globe with about 600,000 members in nearly 100 nations.

Topic: The Isle of Iona
This tiny island with about 70 inhabitants, is 3 hours NW
of Glasgow in the Inner Hebrides islands. Its known history
dates back to 563 AD when St Columba and his followers
arrived from Ireland. The surviving abbey dates from the
12th century and includes the burial chapel where services
were held for Scottish kings and lords of the isles.
